Know more, risk less
The main risk : coma
- Avoid mixes with alcohol before, whole as long as you are under the influence of GHB/ GBL because of the high coma risk.
- GBL is more acid than GHB, it has to be diluted in twice as much water as the former.
- You should eat before using GHB/ GBL and regularly drink water during the party.
- Protect yourself if you have sex, because just like alcohol does GHB/ GBL intensifies sensuality and decreases vigilance, making you more vulnerable.
- GHB/ GBL has to be diluted into an alcohol-free liquid et is meant to be drunk throughout the party.
- The dosage is very precise thus watch out for the amount you take. In case of doubt, take a small dose and wait at least an hour for the effects before you take another one (overdose risk : space your shots and note the time of your shots).
- Avoid mixing it with other psychoactive substances.
- Avoid driving or biking, using GHB / GBL is completely incompatible with it (drowsiness and very poor movement coordination).

At a low dose

GBL, GHB : good to know
- Sensualization /sexualization/ eroticization: Take condoms and be careful with consent
- Be careful with the dose (precise measurement with a dedicated pipette)
- Risk of coma with respiratory depression and inhalation pneumopathy, even at low doses!
- Increased risk with alcohol/ Avoid polyconsumption
- You are responsible for your product: risk of accidental intake by a third party
GHB is an anaesthetic sold as a liquid in small vials.
It is also available in crystalline powder to be diluted in a glass of water. It is colorless and has no smell. GBL transforms into GHB in the body. It’s a common product in the automotive industry.
Notorious as the “date rape drug”, GHB/GBL has a poor reputation, but alcohol remains the first substance reported in association with sexual assault.

If you do not assist a person who is in distress
Failure to assist a person in danger consists of refraining from helping someone who is in distress. This abstention is punishable by law. The author of the non-assistance to a person in danger can be prosecuted in criminal and civil courts.
It is characterized when 2 elements are combined:
1. The person in danger is the one who faces a serious and imminent danger. This danger must threaten his or her life or physical integrity and must be known to the persons likely to be accused of non-assistance to a person in danger. For example, the victim of a traffic accident who is seriously injured and the witnesses of the accident.
2. Failure to render aid. Non-assistance is constituted by the abstention to help the victim or to alert the emergency services, when one was able to do so. This assistance must be necessary to save the victim and must not expose the rescuer to danger. For example, in the case of a fire, a person cannot be blamed for not jumping unprotected into the flames to try to save a victim, but he can be blamed for not alerting the emergency services.
The author of non-assistance to a person in danger may be subject to criminal and civil sanctions. The victim can file a complaint against the offender and claim damages for any harm done.
The person guilty of non-assistance to a person can be sentenced to up to 5 years of imprisonment and a 75 000 € fine.
